I like this idea to discuss and prevent censorship
Great idea and fun way to hear amazing books and stories. I will continue to listen.
Solid content
I am always looking for a good comedy podcast to listen to while cleaning my house. As someone easily distracted it helps me to focus when I have something engaging to occupy me. This podcast is perfect I find myself laughing and really enjoying the banter between the hosts!
Never too late!
I’d have been a subscriber to this podcast from day one if I knew it existed. What a fantastic idea and beautifully executed. Amazing!
I love this!
What a fantastic podcast! I so enjoy the conversations as they read the book. This is a really great idea - way to go!
Why is To Kill A Mockingbird banned?
I don’t recall reading this book when I was younger. However, it’s entertaining to listen to an excerpt of the book while still not understanding why it’s now banned? Loved the mock tail names for the books.
For book lovers and rebels
Jen and Dan read banned books and crack me up with their jokes and insights. They remind me and make me wonder why some books are censored and how to protect the freedom to read. It's like having a book club with your friends over a drink.
Great concept
In a day and age where things get canceled left and right, it’s great to know that there’s a podcast with the backstory
Great Find
I love the concept of this podcast . To Kill A Mockingbird is a CLASSIC. It was required reading in my 8th grade AP English class . It truly mind boggling that it’s now considered a ā€œbannedā€ book.
Love this
I just listened to the episode featuring chapter 7 of To Kill A Mockingbird. It’s my all-time favorite book! I appreciate their take on the chapter, their commentary that doesn’t interrupt the flow of the chapter, and I look forward to listening to more episodes!
High quality, fascinating, but too timely
This podcast is fantastic! The sound quality is top notch and I love hearing them read and talk about what freaked people out! But…we hear the news on this all the time. I don’t need this podcast, which could be timeless, repeating the headlines of right now. Especially when they aren’t necessarily about books or literature. Despite that, I highly recommend this podcast.
